Interactive Tracking Systems, Inc. (“Itracks”) announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) issued a Reexamination Certificate upholding the validity of Itracks’ U.S. Patent No. 6,256,663 (“the ‘663 patent”). The ‘663 patent relates to a system and method for conducting online focus groups using remotely located participants. The issuance of the Reexamination Certificate confirming all 16 claims is the result of a successful reexamination of the ‘663 patent and brings to conclusion the proceedings before the USPTO that were initiated by a third party requester in January 2009.
