HR & Accounting Administrator

Reporting directly to the Vice President, the HR & Accounting Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resources, Accounting, and Administration departments.


Human Resources

  • Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
  • Administers 360 Degree, employee survey and compensation programs
  • Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports from database
  • Participates in benefits administration
  • Assists Managers in recruitment
  • Conducts new employee orientations; administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks; and prepares offer documents
  • Assists in organizational training and development efforts
  • Writes, revises, edits and proofreads company policies & procedures and related documents as needed. Uses electronic forum (itracks’ Wiki) and other vehicles to communicate information
  • Manages and participates in company sponsored events
  • Helps to maintain organization charts and employee directory
  • Performs other related duties as required


  • Assists with sales invoicing, receipting, bank deposits, and accounts receivable collections
  • Assists with entering vendor invoices, reconciling credit cards, managing petty cash, handling incentive inquiries, and other data input and filing
  • Assists the VP of Finance and Accountant as necessary

Office Administration

  • Prepares, accept, and distribute mailings and couriers
  • Assists with meeting set up, material distribution, and travel arrangements
  • Organizes, order, and maintain office and coffee supplies
  • Coordinates cleaning contractors and recycling services
  • Maintains databases, spreadsheets, and prepare reports/documents when required
  • Provides assistance to the CEO and VP as required


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combinations of education and experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain information confidentially and exercise good judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and in a professional manner
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage change in a fast-paced work environment
  • Work with competing deadlines, with ability to prioritize work based on needs of internal clients
  • Experience with SAP, Simply Accounting, Quickbooks or equivalent is an asset
