As a Programmer Analyst you will work closely with the department manager and other members of the development team to provide support and updates to our internal software projects. Our Software department is focused on learning new technologies and applying them to our software solutions. The department operates as a candid, cooperative team and seeks to advance both our products and our skills during all development activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess functionality and integrity of web applications.
• Develop and implement web applications utilizing relational databases, including application enhancements, upgrades and fixes.
• Primary development environment is Microsoft's .NET framework using C#.
• Review and understand technical documentation including test plans, requirements specifications, database diagrams, design specifications.
• Maintenance of Itracks' proprietary Internet software.
• Determining requirements, designing, writing source code and debugging of Internet applications and desktop client components.
• Developing test packages for software systems tests by Itracks' Quality Control staff.
• Documenting design and code based upon company standards.
• Participating in team design reviews.
• Migrating software from a development to a production environment.
• Providing problem solutions in concert with other software team members.

Skills required:

• Object oriented programming experience is essential, as is an understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, and other Internet protocols.
• Self managing and able to execute up to 4 simultaneous software projects at any given time.
• Excellent understanding of Internet and web programming standards, customs, and best practices, especially relating to security, privacy, and performance.
• Motivated with effective oral and written communication skills, able to describe concepts and ideas to other company personnel with various levels of technical knowledge.
• Possess strong programming discipline and skills, as well as demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Experience with MS SQL server is advantageous.
• Updating and using relevant knowledge - keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
