Saskatoon, Canada – October 16, 2013 – itracks, world leading provider of qualitative market research solutions, announces the release of itracks Chat to its portfolio of online qualitative offerings. Based on over 14 years of experience in conducting online qualitative research, itracks has created new real-time research software with a focus on efficiency.
itracks Chat allows feature-rich research tools to be easily and efficiently leveraged during live discussions to maximize interaction. The platform captures immediate reactions to concepts, media and discussion goals from participants with ease, preserving the focus of research on interaction by minimizing content administration. Participants can use markup tools to provide feedback on images or videos streamed directly to the software whiteboard area.
Expansions to the research toolbox include new single or multiple-choice polling in the live environment. In addition, discussion guide programming now supports the option of uninfluenced questions where respondents must post their responses before viewing the responses of others. Jeff Walkowski, President of Qualcore and long-time user of itracks software, stated, “I’m very excited about many of the capabilities of the new itracks Chat platform. The polling function will give me more flexibility as a moderator and will provide a more engaging experience for respondents. Being able to ask questions in ‘uninfluenced’ mode will help me to more efficiently gather individual respondent feedback, before they may be biased by others in the group.”
The patented backroom capabilities of itracks’ qualitative suite continue to provide clientele with the ability to both observe and seamlessly interact with researchers from behind the virtual mirror. The new platform offers an instant transcript, ready to analyze, immediately after the focus group. View a demonstration video:
