This expansion of the itracks’ team has been led by Alan Mavretish after his recent promotion to itracks VP of Client Development. </span></p>
<p>Formerly the Director of Sales with Amplitude Research and Client Development Manager at Research Now (an e-Rewards Company), Doug Pryor has nearly 20 years of experience in business development roles.</p>
<p>“Doug brings a strong research background to itracks as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer service and relationship management,” said Alan Mavretish, itracks’ VP of Client Development.  “We’re excited to add Doug’s talents to our growing team as we position ourselves for growth with our aggressive new product development schedule to be rolled out over the next two quarters.”</p>

The pretrial hearing allowed a judge to examine evidence from both parties regarding claim construction of U.S. Patent No. 6,256,663, regarding a system and method of conducting online focus groups using remotely-located participants.</p>
<p>On June 1, 2011, the Court issued its ruling on claim construction, accepting itracks′ position on the disputed patent infringement.</p>
<p>“The Court′s ruling is a significant step towards final resolution of the infringement case,” stated Dan Weber, CEO of itracks. “The court′s decision should positively impact other research companies and how they conduct their operations. <p>SASKATOON, SK, CANADA (June 3, 2011)i<a href="http://www.itracks.com/">tracks</a>, the world-leading provider of online qualitative research and patent holder for qualitative applications, has released results of an online survey of Business Marketing Association (BMA) members regarding the impact of social media on their business.</p>
<p>Dan Weber, CEO of itracks, commented, “The survey reinforces what great marketers already know. If you′re not using social media, you′re dead. Where you focus your resources and how is important too. As marketers we need to take time and use resources like itracks to conduct surveys like this.”</p>
<p>70 members participated in the survey, which was conducted from May 19-25, to help better understand how social media is being used as part of operating their business. The survey resulted in some notable outcomes. Of the 89% of companies using social media, 49% of them believe LinkedIn provides the best return on investment, followed by Twitter and Facebook. In addition, most believed social media marketing efforts had a positive impact on awareness, word-of-mouth, and lead generation.</p>
